Out of their own such experiences, the founders of Foodstrong decided to do something for such folks who have now started taking control of their own nutrition and well being.
The Nutritional Void in Indian Diet
Protein happens to be the biggest nutritional gap in Indian diet. Extensive studies and research suggest that almost 9 out of 10 Indians are protein deficient. Filling that nutritional void in Indian diet is the primary reason that brought Foodstrong into existence. With Foodstrong, we came up with the idea of making protein shakes that blend world-class ingredients, free from preservatives or sugar, tastes great and provides optimum nutrition. Whey For Protein
Milk contains two types of protein: casein and whey. Whey protein is a mixture of proteins isolated from whey, the liquid part of milk that separates during cheese production. After the whey is separated during cheese production, it goes through several levels of processing to become whey protein or protein powder. Whey protein is not usually known for its taste. However, Foodstrong’s unique blend of ingredients promises to change that tradition. We believe, taste or health can never be a compromise. Real good food is always delicious, and we won’t have it any other way.
